Mohammed Taha is a documentary filmmaker and multimedia producer. Combining academic training in media with extensive fieldwork, he produces visual narratives that document the cultural landscape of Kurdistan. His work is characterized by a humanistic approach, focusing on underrepresented stories and the preservation of heritage. Originally drawn to visual arts through photography, he has expanded his practice to film to capture the nuance of the region’s history. Beyond his production work, Mohammed founded Shkeft, an independent project committed to reviving analog photography and facilitating knowledge exchange among local visual artists.
